I N F O

After a long hiatus, Socrates recorded Nowhere We Know in Taiwan during the fall of 2020 and spring of 2021. This solo album is his first official release and  was distributed across all major music streaming services. The songs were recorded by Andy Baker & Vicky Chiu at Yu Chen Cinema Studio; Zen Chien at 112F Recording Studio; and Howard Huang at KHK Studio. None of the songs have ever been performed live. The album exists entirely online - no CDs or other physical media were cut.

Slowly But Surely is an EP recorded during the spring of 2010 in Taipei, Taiwan. All tracks were recorded at Riverside Studio by Jungle K - except track 3 which was recorded at Da-Ji-Xiang Studio by Andy Baker. It marks the end of Electric Q's musical collaboration.  After a short period of reshuffling, their final breakup followed. The EP was independently financed and released (300 CD copies).

Without The Makeup features a selection of songs and ideas that never made it to the studio (except  track 1 - an electric version of which later appeared in  the album How Much?). The songs were written between 1999 and 2003 while Socrates was studying in the UK, and were recorded in his home in Edinburgh in 2004. They had not been released in any format until now.

The demo tape was recorded in Athens, Greece during the spring of 1997 by George Zanetopoulos at Studio 5.2 - originally a radio jingle production studio. It was financed and released independently by his band, Blue Waterlily (about 100 cassette copies).
