As the SGC, I supervised and managed all aspects of the art program, including IB and AP curriculum development, unit planning, budget management and teacher observations. I collaborated with other department coordinators to develop interdisciplinary units and integrated art into other subjects. I mentored and supported art teachers to enhance their teaching skills and promoted a positive learning environment. I was also responsible for organizing and curating school art shows and exhibitions on and off-campus.
An an art instructor, I taught a variety of art classes including IB MYP Art (Years 1-5), IB DP Visual Art, AP Studio Art & Design, AP Art History, and other elective art courses. I supervised Extended Essay and Personal Project students. I collaborated with other subject group teachers (Science and Social Studies) to develop and implement interdisciplinary units. And I organized educational trips to museums, art galleries and studio workshops.

As the Art Director, I developed and implemented engaging art curriculum aligning with the California State Standards for all grades. I created teaching resources for all art classes. I sourced art supplies for the department. I organized and coordinated school-wide events such as design competitions and art auctions for charity. And I maintained an in-school art gallery holding regular exhibitions of student work.
As an art instructor, I taught a variety of art classes for students of all ages and skill levels - including AP Studio Art and Digital Photography elective courses. I collaborated with other teachers and staff (Science and English Lit) to integrate art education into other subjects. And I supervised Art Clubs working on various projects such as making sets and props for theatrical productions.
