I’m an experienced and dedicated art teacher with a passion for inspiring personal expression and fostering creativity in students of all ages and skill levels. I have a strong background in the Visual Arts and a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing engaging lesson plans and curriculum. I’m skilled in classroom management and assessment, and I’m committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

I hold a Master's degree in Art Education and I've been teaching full-time for 12 years. I can teach a wide range of art-making skills including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and digital art. I've taught Advanced Placement courses (2-D Art & Design and Art History) as well as Middle Years and Diploma art courses of the International Baccalaureate Programme. I’m also familiar with the IGCSE Art & Design curriculum.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to instruct diverse groups of students from different parts of the world. In addition to teaching art, I held the positions of Art Department Director (TYAS) and Art Department Coordinator (KCIS) which required me to perform various administrative tasks such as providing teacher support, developing curriculum, and organizing school-wide events.

One of my greatest strengths as an art instructor is my ability to integrate hands-on studio art practice with art history and theory in order to deliver a holistic learning experience. A method of art education that cultivates technical skill, informed creativity, self-expression, and aesthetic appreciation. Likewise, I strive to instil in my students a love of art and to unlock their creative potential by exposing them to various artistic media and styles in order to discover their ideal means of visual expression.

Teaching is not only my career, but a lifelong commitment. I am passionate about it and I never cease to learn and grow as an educator.
